[Section 551.071, Government Code - Consultation With Attorney:] For a private consultation with the Board’s attorney with respect to pending or contemplated litigation or settlement offers, and/or on matters where the attorney's duty to the Board, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the open government provisions of Chapter 551 of the Government Code, to wit:

2.A.1. Claim of supplier: Summers Group, Inc., d/b/a Rexel.

2.A.2. Proposed interlocal agreement for contraband forfeiture as proposed by the District Attorney

2.A.3. Proposed Head Start contract with City of San Antonio, for information only.

2.A.4. Legal issues dealing with items proposed for Closed Session.

2.B. [Section 551.074, Texas Government Code - Personnel Matters:] To deliberate the, appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee, to wit:

2.B.1. Proposed terminations:

2.B.1.a. Mary Berscheid;

2.B.1.b. Leonard Salas.

2.B.2. New Hires:

2.B.2.a. Manuel Martinez, as a classroom teacher at Pay Grade 8, subject to assignment and reassignment by the Superintendent. [Also note: Mr. Martinez has been interviewed for an assignment as Head Football Coach/Campus Coordinator at Memorial High School.]
