[Section 551.071, Government Code - Consultation With Attorney:] For a private consultation with the Board’s attorney with respect to pending or contemplated litigation or settlement offers, and/or on matters where the attorney's duty to the Board, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the open government provisions of Chapter 551 of the Government Code, to wit:

2.A.1. Statue of hearing and proposed resolutions in TEA Docket No. 154-LH-0412 on pending proposed terminations of employment due to reduction in force and status and proposed resolution on pending proposed nonrenewal of contract due to reduction in force.

2.A.2. Revisions to Policy EIA (Local) - for 2nd reading and proposed adoption.

2.A.3. Legal issues associated with agenda other items brought into Closed Session.

2.B. [Section 551.074, Texas Government Code - Personnel Matters:] To deliberate the, appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee, to wit:

2.B.1.a. Diana Lozano, who was interviewed for the position of District Mathematics Specialist, subject to assignment and reassignment by the Superintendent.

2.B.1.b. Cristina Solis, who was interviewed for the position of Middle School Principal, subject to assignment and reassignment by the Superintendent.

2.B.1.c. Gina Flores, who was interviewed for the position of Director of Special Education, subject to assignment and reassignment by the Superintendent.

2.B.2. Change in Contract Status:

2.B.2.a. Genevieve Guerra, was interviewed by the position of Elementary Principal, subject to assignment and reassignment by the Superintendent.

2.B.2.b. Cynthia Pena, was interviewed for the position of Elementary Principal, subject to assignment and reassignment by the Superintendent.

3.A. Action, decision, determination or vote on matters listed as closed session items and/or brought into closed session as permitted by law.

3.B. Approval to purchase library books from Follett Library Resources not to exceed the amount of $70,000 to be funded through the Texas Title I Priority Schools Grant for Gus Garcia Middle School.

3.C. Approval to adopt and purchase the textbook and resources for Career and Technical courses: Introduction to Cosmetology, Cosmetology I, and Cosmetology II.

3.D. Approval of funds for Cosmetology and Automotive Technology Program for the 2012-2013 school year.

3.E. Approval to purchase custodial equipment from Austin Vacuum, S.A., Inc. in the amount not to exceed $252,306.65.
