2.B. TASB Executive Search Services regarding a proposed Superintendent Search and recommendation for an Interim Superintendent during the search process.

2.C. Mayor's challenge calling on educators and others to collaborate toward making San Antonio a "My Brother's Keeper" community.

3. Public Meeting: public participation and input is invited for the proposed adoption of the Optional Flexible School Day Program proposal in accordance with section 44.004 of the Texas Education Code. The Board will provide time for citizens to present their views, opinions, suggestions, etc., regarding the proposed approval of the Optional Flexible School Day Program for 2015-2016 and approval of the application for same to the Commissioner of Education.

4. Discussion/Action Items following adjournment of the Public Meeting:

4.A. Proposed approval for 2015-2016 Optional Flexible School Day Program and application as permitted by TEC 29.0821 and rules promulgated by the Commissioner of Education in 19 TAC 129.1027 et seq, and in accordance with Board Policy series EHBC.

4.B. Proposed approval of the 2015-2016 interlocal agreement with the City of San Antonio for collaboration and participation in the After School Challenge Program at eleven (11) schools, at a cost of $168,750.00, to be funded through local funds and reimbursed by the City.

4.C. Approval of Budget Amendments for the period ending September 18, 2015.

4.D. Nomination for Bexar Appraisal District Board of Directors for 2016-2017.
|
4.E. Proposed approval to expend $10,026.00 from Career and Technology Education (CATE) contingency funds and $15,106.00 from fund balance to repair four projects at the CATE building.

4.F. Approval for Resolution to recognize Domestic and Dating Violence Awareness Month during October in Edgewood Independent School District.
|
4.G. Personnel Report: Promotions, transfers, new hires, resignations, retirements and reassignments for professional contract personnel where Board Action is required. [Note: Board action on this items, if any, is limited to those personnel items that require Board action; otherwise, the items is for information only, whether or not the Board approves a motion to approve this item; and, in any event, the Board does not approve transfers, resignations previously approved by Administrative authority, retirements, and reassignments.]

4.H. Approval to accept a donation of dictionaries for all Edgewood ISD third grade students from the Edgewood Lions Club at no cost to the district.

4.I. Approve the implementation of the Creative Writing high school course at the middle school in accordance with the guidelines, certifications, and prerequisites determined by the Texas Education Agency.
