Presentation on the competitive bids received by the District for the District's Investment Agreement related to the investment of the Series 2004-A Bonds, issued in the original principal amount of $48,440,000.00, and the award of the Investment Agreement to the Bidder submitting the highest yield; contingent, however, upon successful negotiation of any and all conditions submitted by the Provider and compliance with U.S. Treasury Regulations [Financial Advisor, Raul Villasenor; Bond Counsel, William T. Avila]

3. Motion to go into Closed Session:

[Section 551.071, Government Code - Consultation With Attorney:] For a private consultation with the Board’s attorney with respect to pending or contemplated litigation or settlement offers, and/or on matters where the attorney's duty to the Board, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the open government provisions of Chapter 551 of the Government Code, to wit:

3.A.1. Proposed settlement of Cause No. 2005-CI-09464, entitled Lorrie Garza v EISD, filed in the 73rd Judicial District Court of Bexar County, Texas.

3.A.2. Proposed contract with Bexar County elections Administrator for election services.

3.A.3. Legal issues dealing with other items taken into Closed Session, if any.
