3.A. Recognition to our Board of Managers during Board Appreciation Month

3.B. The Board of Managers will hear a presentation recognizing community organizations who donated to the 2017 Edgewood ISD Police Department's Feed Our Families Thanksgiving.

3.C. The Board of Managers will hear presentations from campuses: Gardendale Elementary - Ms. Kristin Willmann, Principal and Memorial High School - Mr. Bryan Norwood, Principal. 

3.D. Presentation of the Lone Star Governance Monthly Monitoring Report for December 2017 and January 2018.  

3.E. The Board of Managers will hear a presentation regarding the College Readiness and Success PSAT/NMSQT Early Participation Program PSAT and SAT data for 2016 and 2017.

3.F. The Board of Managers will hear a presentation regarding the Reenergizing Leadership to Achieve Greater Student Success: A Collaborative Project with the Intercultural Development Research Association (IDRA) and Edgewood ISD.

4. Consent Agenda:

4.A. Consideration and approval of the School of Innovation applications from Roy Cisneros Elementary, Memorial High School, Fine Arts/STEM Academy, and John F. Kennedy High School in accordance with Board Policy EL (LOCAL).  

4.B. Consideration and approval of the Edgewood ISD Campus Improvement Plans (CIP) for the 2017-2018 school year.  

4.C. Consideration and approval of the renewal of the Microsoft Desktop Education Subscription from Computer Solutions in the amount not to exceed $91,955.31 from local funds.

4.D. Consideration and approval of the digital DreamBox Learning Curriculum for grades 6-8 in the amount not to exceed $28,225.00 using State Compensatory Education funds.

4.E. Consideration and approval of the College Board contract for the Springboard English Language Arts instructional materials for grades 6-12, in the amount not to exceed $17,348.86.

5.A. Approval of the Lone Star Governance AE (EXHIBIT) Student Outcome Goals & Goal Progress Measure Superintendent Constraint 2: The superintendent shall not allow student outcome goal oriented professional learning to decrease from 65% by the end of school year 2022.

5.B. Approval of the Lone Star Governance Quarterly Board Progress Tracker for Fourth Quarter – January 2018.

5.C. Approval of the Annual Financial and Compliance Report for fiscal year ending August 31, 2017.

5.D. Approval of U.S. Specialty Risk-State National Insurance Company to provide the District with Excess Workers’ Compensation Insurance for the period of 02/01/2018 to 01/31/2019.

5.E. Approval of Resolution to Compensate Employees Directed Not to Report to Work Due to Inclement Weather.

6.A. Discussion pursuant to Texas Education Code section 11.1542, to allow administration to send “Letters of Interest”  to charters schools located wholly or partly within the boundaries of Edgewood ISD of the school district’s intent to sell all of Lot 28, Block 3, New City Block 8988, City of San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas also known as Edgewood Community and Adult Center located at 563 SW 40th Street, San Antonio, Texas and to send Letters of Interest to said charter schools on whether they may wish to purchase said property with such solicitations of interest only to be open for a two week period after sending said Letters of Interest, and any matters incident thereto. [Executive Closed Session is requested pursuant to Texas Government Code, Title 5, Subchapter D, Section 551.072 (Deliberation Regarding Real Property) and 551.071 (Consultation with Legal Counsel)] 

6.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code section 551.071, consultation with Legal Counsel Regarding Frank Guarjardo v Edgewood ISD Police Department, SOAH Docket No. 407-17-0775.F5, Before the State Office of Administration Hearings.

6.C. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, the Board will receive a status update in regards to Civil Action No.: 5:16-cv-00962; Darla Howard vs. Edgewood ISD, in the United States District for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division and Civil Action No. 5:16-cv-0123; Jane Doe n/k/a M.E. v. Edgewood ISD, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division. 

6.D. Pursuant to Texas Government Code sections 551.071 and 551.074, consultation with the District's attorney and discussion regarding Superintendent's evaluation instrument. 

6.E. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.074, discussion regarding employment, assignment, reassignments, resignations, leaves of absence, duties and responsibilities of personnel.
