2.A. The Board of Managers will hear presentations from firms seeking to conduct a search for a new superintendent of schools on behalf of the district.

3. Consent Agenda:

3.A. Proposed approval of services agreement between Edgewood ISD and ChildSafe relating to ChildSave for 2016-2017 school year, at no cost to the district.

3.B. Proposed of approval of agreement with Family Violence Prevention Services for the 2016-2017 school year, at no cost to the district.

3.C. Proposed approval of agreement with Project STAY, Inc. from August 1, 2016 - July 31, 2019, at no cost to the district.

3.D. Proposed approval for an Optional Flexible School Day Program as permitted by TEC § 29.0821 and rules promulgated by the Commissioner of Education in 19 TAC § 129.1027 et seq, and in accordance with Board Policy series EHBC.

3.E. Proposed approval Edgewood ISD as a District of Innovation.  

4. Approval to renew Funds For Learning, LLC as the agent for all E-rate management and compliance services for Edgewood ISD.  The cost of the renewal is $48,500.00

5. Discussion/Action Items:

5.A. Approval to accept the student code of conduct for the 2016 – 2017 school year.

5.B. Approval for the estimated cost of services provided to Edgewood ISD by “Speech Specialist of San Antonio” for the 2016-2017 school year for a total of $471,000.00 using Special Education State Funds.

5.C. Approval for the estimated cost of services provided to Edgewood ISD by “Beyond Speech and Sound” for the 2016-2017 school year for a total of $137,104.00 using Special Education State Funds.

5.D. Approval for the estimated cost of services provided to Edgewood ISD from Houston Independent School District Medicaid Billing and Claiming Services for the School Health and Related Services (SHARS) program for the 2016-17 school year for the approximately $50,000.00 using Special Education State funds.

5.E. Approval to purchase resource guides from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for an amount of approximately $73,017.00 funded by the Texas Education Agency High Quality Prekindergarten Grant Program.  

5.F. Approval for the estimated cost of services provided to Edgewood ISD by “School Therapy Services” for the 2016-2017 school year for a total of $211,820 using both Special Education Local funds.

5.G. Consider and take action to approve an order calling for the general election of trustees for the Edgewood Independent School District

5.H. Proposed approval of a Joint Election Agreement between the District and Bexar County and other governmental entities for participation in a joint election to be held on November 8, 2016.
