10.A.1. Athletic Coaches
|

10.B. Grant Request(s):
|
|
10.B.1. Jann Taylor would like to develop and submit a grant to the Four Way Foundation on behalf of the College and Career Centers and Illinois Valley HS and Hidden Valley HS to better equip the College and Career Centers at these schools. The full grant request will be for $3,790.
|

10.B.2. Ft. Vannoy teacher Lindsay Devore would like to apply for a $4000 Dollar General grant for technology in the classroom.
|
|
10.B.3. District Math Mentor/Facilitator Francie Bostwick would like to apply for a grant with the Toshiba America Foundation. The grant will fund a class set of Chromebooks for Algebra II students at North Valley High School.
|

10.C. Out of State Travel Requests:
|
|
10.C.1. North Valley teacher Rob Moeny requests permission to travel out of state with two students to the National Speech and Debate Association National Tournament in Birmingham, Alabama, June 18-23, 2017. The school is also requesting $300 per student as per board policy to support national competitions.
|
|
10.C.2. North Valley teacher Rob Moeny requests permission to travel out of state to Indiana University on June 3-4 and South Korea July 21-August 4 as part of the 2017 EASC-NCTA Study Tour to South Korea. Other than a potential sub day in June there is not cost to the district.
|
|
10.C.3. North Valley High School principal Dennis Misner requests board approval for the North Valley Robotics Team to attend and compete in Pacific Northwest District Robotics Championships at Cheney, Washington April 4-9, 2017. The robotics club and fundraising will cover costs of the trip.
|
|
10.C.4. Hidden Valley FBLA is requesting continued board support for their National competition by granting permission to travel to Anaheim, California for the FBLA National Leadership Conference and approval of $300 per student for travel. Students, chaperones and advisor (Chris Pendleton) will be attending at the end of June to the beginning of July.
|
|
10.C.5. North Valley HS teacher Tiffany Maki seeks board approval to take a group of North Valley High School Leadership students to Disneyland June 26-29, 2017. The trip is all fundraised and there is no cost to ASB or the district.
|
|
10.C.6. North Valley teacher and FBLA advisor Deborah Acosta requests approval to attend the FBLA National competition with three to six students that have qualified to participate. The National conference is in Anaheim. California June 24-27, 2017. They are also requesting approval for the $300 per student available from the district per board policy.
