NOTICE OF VIDEOCONFERENCE CALL PURSUANT TO TEX. GOV'T CODE 551.127. The meeting will be open to remote participation by a member(s) of the Board of Trustee by videoconference call, in compliance with the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act. The intent is for a quorum of the Board of Trustees to be physically present at the meeting location at 2701 Loy Lake Road, Sherman, TX 75090. A member of the Board of Trustees of the Sherman Independent School District may participate remotely in this meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Sherman Independent School District by means of a videoconference call with video and audio feed of the member's participation, as applicable, to be broadcast live at the meeting. Gov't Code 551.127 (a-1) A member of a governmental body who participates in a meeting as provided by Gov't Code 551.127 (a-I) shall be counted as present at the meeting for all purposes. Gov't Code 551.127 (a-2) A member of a governmental body who participates in a meeting by videoconference call shall be considered absent from any portion of the meeting during which audio or video communication with the member is lost or disconnected. The governmental body may continue the meeting only if a quorum of the body remains present at the meeting location. Gov't Code 551.127 (a-3) Pursuant to Gov't Code 551.127 (e), a quorum of the governmental body will be physically present and the member of the governmental body presiding over the meeting will be present at 2701 Loy Lake Road, Sherman, TX 75090.
