This meeting is a special meeting and work session called by the Belmond-Klemme CSD Board of Directors at Jacobson Elementary. 

The scheduled meeting is a special celebrational meeting for the Board of Directors of the Belmond-Klemme Community School District. The Board will be holding a welcome back breakfast for all faculty and staff to celebrate the beginning of the school year.

A quorum of school board members may be present and participate in the celebration. The meeting on the date above is an informal school board meeting. A formal meeting will not be convened, so rules of order will not be followed nor will any action be taken during this meeting time.

The purpose of this agenda is simply to provide the public with full disclosure of all school board activities.

No discussion will take place at the above meeting other than those topics disclosed in this agenda. The School Board will conduct a public hearing at the above-noted location and time on the school Wrestling Program and the Board's recent decision to dissolve the program. At the hearing, any resident or taxpayer may present objections to, or arguments in favor of, any part of the decision.

Individual speakers will be limited to three minutes apiece.

No action will be taken at this meeting. The school board will consider the comments from the hearing and will place the wrestling issue on the agenda for the board’s regular meeting on Thursday, August 18, 2022. The issue may be reconsidered at that time.

No public comment on the wrestling program will be accepted at the Thursday meeting.
