Appoint Goshen County Recreation Board Members for 2018
Chairman Harshberger has contacted all members who have indicated they will continue to serve on the board and have their terms renewed as follows: Tim Pieper - 1st year of a 5-year term (expires December 2022) Dean Harshberger - 2nd year of a 5-year term (expires December 2021) Carlos Saucedo - 3rd year of a 5-year term (expires December 2020) Charlie Harshberger - 4th year of a 5-year term (expires December 2019) Kelly Sittner - 5th year of a 5-year term (expires December 2018) |
Consider Approval of a One-Year Only Increase to the Special Education Hiring Incentive for the 2018-2019 School Year
At the October 10, 2017 meeting, the Board approved offering a $3,000.00 hiring incentive to any new special education certified staff. Due to the difficulty of hiring special education staff, a one-time increase from $3,000.00 to $5,000.00 is proposed. |

The next special meeting/ work session will be the Board-Parent Focus Group meeting on Tuesday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m. at Torrington Middle School. A light dinner will be provided for attendees.

The next regular Board meeting will be Tuesday, February 13 at 7:00 p.m.
|
The WSBA Legislative Forum will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Little America in Cheyenne.
|
The NSBA Annual Conference will be in San Antonio from April 6-8, 2018. Registration and housing has been completed. Superintendent Chrostoski, Christine Miller, Dean Harshberger, and Carlos Saucedo will be attending
