Consider Approval of Proposed Revisions to District Policy 5152.5 (Homeless Students) as Presented on Second and Final Reading

Since the first reading last month, further revisions were made using the WSBA policy and district legal counsel recommendation to ensure compliance with ESSA.  Final approval will be given at a third reading in June.

Future Meetings
There will be a special board meeting on Tuesday, May  22, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. for the approval of the preliminary budget.  The Annual Retiree Reception will also be held following the meeting.
Board Member Orientation and Leadership Governance Training with Sue Belish, WSBA Board Development Training Director, will be on Monday June 11, 2018, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The next regular Board meeting will be Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
