E.1.a. The District Administration will share that S&P Global Ratings has assigned a rating of A+ for the sale of district bonds this month.

E.2. Recommend Approval to Purchase Teacher Laptops
E.2.a. The District Administration recommends approval to purchase up to 316 laptops using federal funding. These laptops would be deployed with teachers across the District and would provide flexible and creative options for teachers to deliver instruction in innovative methods while also meeting the demands of social distancing.

E.3. Recommend Approval of Hoodoo Crew High School Science Club
E.3.a. The District Administration recommends the approval of the new science club sponsored by Mrs. Ashley Hayes. The Hoodoo Club is a club forming to provide access to science education, including field trips to national parks and other locations to observe science-related curriculum in the real world.

F. Unfinished Business
F.1. Recommend Approval to Adopt Flowing Wells Junior High Science Curriculum
F.1.a. The District Administration recommends adopting FOSS science curriculum for use in grades 7 and 8 at Flowing Wells Junior High, with implementation to begin in the 2021-2022 school year.
G. New Business
G.1. Presentation of Professional Development Plan for 2021-2022
G.1.a. Mrs. Patricia Gutierrez, director of professional development, will present the professional development brochure and hold a discussion with the Governing Board.

G.2. Update Regarding District Summer Programs
G.2.a. Information is provided regarding the enrichment and academic summer programs to be offered during the summer of 2021.
G.3. Revisions to District Reading Specialist Position Description
G.3.a. The District Administration recommends approval of revisions to the position of District Reading Specialist. The revisions reflect increased responsibilities associated with the District's English Language Arts initiatives as well as with state and federal compliance requirements.
G.4. Recommend Approval of Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with Pima County for the Pima Early Education Program
G.4.a. The District Administration recommends the approval of the IGA to provide twenty (20) preschool students financial access to a new preschool classroom to be housed at the Emily Meschter Early Learning Center beginning in the fall of 2021.

G.5. Recommend Approval of District Summer Calendar
G.5.a. The District Administration recommends the approval of the 4-day work week calendar for the summer months. The calendar follows the same pattern of working four 10-hour days with the exception of the July 4th weekend due to the holiday.

G.6. Recommend Approval of the Updated Flowing Wells COVID-19 Mitigation Plan and Authorize the Superintendent to Make Ongoing Incremental Changes
G.6.a. Revisions include changes of the social distancing guidelines from six (6) feet to three (3) feet, allowance for parent volunteers, gatherings for events, correcting calendar dates, and allowance of field trips.

G.7. Approval of Proposed Donation by Flowing Wells Extension Program, Inc. and Direct the Preparation of an Agreement to Implement Donation
G.7.a. The District Administration recommends that the Governing Board (a) approve the proposed donation summarized in the April 7, 2021, letter from Flowing Wells Extension Program, Inc. and (b) direct the Superintendent and District legal counsel to prepare an agreement acceptable to Flowing Wells Extension Program, Inc. to formalize and implement the donation.

G.9. Recommend Approval to Revision of Proposition 301 Additional Responsibilities Framework
G.9.a. The District Administration is recommending a revision to the additional responsibilities framework to include "and implementation activities" to the approved COVID-19 Related Activities, allowing volunteer staff participation in Flowing Wells vaccine clinics during the 2020-2021 school year.

G.10.a. The District Administration recommends the hiring of Mr. Luis Blanco for assistant principal at Douglas Elementary School beginning July 1, 2021.
