Presenting an update to Policy GBRL Drug Free Schools and Workplace to be consistent with our district's practices, procedures, and policy guidelines.

Each of these campuses had a change in their school test coordinators.

This is an online platform used by students/teachers for the past several years that offers 750+ standards-aligned K-12 lessons across all core subjects and beyond.

This renewal is for middle and high school students to have access to the MS shared digital collection of books either online or in the classroom.  Teachers can use this learning tool for intervention, remediation and enrichment.  Students are familiar with the program.  It provides data for teachers and tools for students to drive instruction and promote achievement.

This product has been used by our district since 20-21 and will be divided among our schools to provide on-demand professional learning course opportunities for teachers.  Students will use this program for intervention, remediation and achievement both in person and remotely.  It also serves as a means of credit recovery for the at-risk student.

The quote covers all 11th grade students testing on October 29, 2024.  Terms and conditions agreement is personalized for JCSD test administration for the 2024-2025 school year.

This is a required MDE document each school district in Mississippi must have in place by August 1st of each academic school year.

This change order will allow for 2 additional units for St. Martin High School.

The primary reason for this initiative is that the copyright for the East Central Hornet is currently held by a print company, which has led to legal threats whenever we or the PTO attempt to get shirts or other merchandise printed elsewhere. By creating new designs, we would secure full rights to our mascots and logos, eliminating this issue permanently.

This is the annual renewal of the E-Rate consultant contract. 

This was previously approved for timber harvest, site preparation, and reforestation in 2019.  

This will be an additional metal building behind the original building.  This new building will be a place for games and classes.

Approve Donation for Resurrection Catholic Elementary to Jackson County Technology Center

Lexia, one of the ELA intervention tools used by our district campuses in grades K-6, is providing an all-expense paid trip for our curriculum department representatives to travel to this summit.  They will bring back data to share after networking with others using the program, hearing the guest speaker explain unpacking challenges and charting solutions like embedded assessment, adaptive blended learning and skill and standards-based data and reporting, through the best use of The Science of Reading structure Lexia provides.
