Present Policy ABB as an update item. This update adds clarifying language stating that the financial literacy components do not go into effect until the graduating class of 2032.

Present Policy ABCB as an update item. This updated policy conforms with the language under Mississippi Code 37-7-306 and 37-5-3.

Present Policy ABCDA as an update item. The update to this policy includes current language under the law and removes redundant information. There are no new changes to the law. 

Present update to Policy GBRI. This update includes Tier 5 language to reflect changes to PERS service credit. Tier 5 employees are no longer awarded credit for unused leave when they have a separation of employment. 

Present Policy GFABM as an update item. This update includes the ability to lift/carry, and attendance requirements. The last update removes the requirement that job experience must be provided in an educational setting. Removing this language broadens our hiring scope of Behavior Specialists that may have worked in the private sector.

This conference is specifically designed for the Alabama-Mississippi English Learner (EL) educator. All conference sessions will build teacher efficacy within our EL department.
