XIV. Safe and Sound Protocol Pilot
Presenter:
C Johnson
Description:
The Safe and Sound Protocol helps improve body/brain organization and function in students. The method is based on the science of neuroplasticity that tells us that the brain changes in response to stimulation. The protocol uses a multisensory intervention ... organizing the body (think of it like the foundation), then organizing the brain, getting ready for higher cognitive functions, like reading, memory, attention. If you’re anxious or stressed, it’s much easier to self-regulate to a state of calm.
