4. RESOLUTION: SINKING FUND MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL
The Community first approved the building and site sinking fund for the District in 2004. A ten-year renewal was then approved in November 2012. Over $39 million has been generated and spent out of this fund on improvements and repairs to the buildings. This millage is scheduled to expire during the fiscal year 2022/2023. Seeking renewal at the regular November 2022 election will ensure that the millage continues without interruption. Administration recommends that the Board officially establish the building and site sinking fund proposal as a matter to be voted on at the election on November 8, 2022. |
