6.C.1. TOSA Travis Osborne requests to apply for a grant for the Hidden Valley High School's Strength & Conditioning program.  The Hammer Strength (Lifetime Fitness) equipment grant is for up to $15,000 in new equipment.
6.C.2. NVHS Music teacher Maximillian Jones requests approval to submit a $3,000 grant application to the Moulton Family Vocal Music Fund. The funds requested will help pay for transportation to the American Heritage Music Festival in Anaheim, California in April 2023.
6.C.3. Four Way Rose Douglas Grants are provided to nonprofit organization in a local target areas for capital expenditures to help meet their missions. The special education department is seeking $10,000 to purchase technology, supplemental materials for academics, and materials for our life skills programs.
6.D. Out of State Travel Request(s)
6.D.1. Fort Vannoy Principal Alicia Timbs is seeking approval for JJ Sutton (FV music teacher) to travel to Bellevue, Washington on February 16, 2023 to take part in the National Association of Music Education Conference. There will be no cost for this travel, as JJ Sutton is a member of the OMEA and that organization will cover all costs.
6.D.2. Fleming Principal Brian Miller requests out of state travel permission for the Fleming eighth grade band for their annual trip to Six Flags in Vallejo, California, May 20 & 21, 2023.  Mr. Wilder has been taking the eighth grade band on this trip for over twenty years. The cost of the trip is paid for by the students.
6.D.3. Director Saunders requests approval to have at least two tech staff attend the 14th annual Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC) September 19-21, 2023 in Austin, Texas.

Description:
School Board meetings are meetings of the School Board held in public, not meetings with the public.  As a general rule, the Board will not engage in discussion with the public during this portion of the meeting.  Please rest assured that all comments are carefully considered and will help guide future Board action.  If you wish to speak, please complete the 'School Board Comment Card' if in-person or complete the Public Comment Request online at:  https://www.3riverssd.org to provide public comment virtually.  There will be 20 minutes allotted for public input.  When your name is called you will be allowed your 2-3 minutes to speak.  Keep your remarks brief and respect the time limit.  Complaints about staff members cannot be discussed in open session and must be handled through a complaint procedure.
