7.D.1. Fleming teacher Jerry Wilder requests permission for the Fleming eighth grade band and leadership to travel to 'The Oasis Family Fun Center' in Redding, California May 17, 2014.  There is no cost to the district.
7.D.2. Manzanita Principal Jessica Durrant requests permission to send a group of teachers to the DuFour PLC Conference in Seattle, WA and a different group of teachers to the Daily 5 Conference in Tacoma, WA.  Both conferences are during the summer and are in direct alignment with the school goals of PLC and Literacy.  All expenses will be paid for with Title I funds.
7.D.3. North Valley teacher Rob Money requests permission for out-of-state travel to attend the National Forensic League National Tournament in Overland Park, Kansas June 13-21, along with $300  funding for the student that qualified to attend (Melodie Martz).  The remainder of the costs to attend will be paid by fundraising.
7.D.4. Hidden Valley High School teacher Chris Pendleton requests board support by granting permission to travel to Nashville, Tennessee for the FBLA National Leadership Conference and approval of $300 per student for travel costs.  The trip will be attending at the end of June to the beginning of July.  At this time the number of students qualified for the national competition is unknown.
