9.B.1. Board Regular Session - February 16, 2016
9.C. Out of State Travel Request(s):
9.C.1. Hidden Valley Assistant Principal Brian Miller requests approval for out of state travel for their football coaches to attend a 2016 Glacier Player Safety Coaching Clinic on February 19-21 in Concord, California.
9.C.2. Director Casey Alderson requests approval for out of state travel to attend the regional Career and Technical Education conference for the Association for Career and Technical Education.  The conference will be paid for through the Southern Oregon ESD.  The conference is held in San Diego April 20-23, 2016.
9.C.3. Applegate School principal Darrell Erb requests permission to take his eighth grade class (10 students) to Vallejo, California at the end of the school year.  They will have at least four chaperones and will take a school bus.  There is no cost to the district.  Funds will be raised by a team effort of students and parents.
9.C.4. Hidden Valley High School Future Business Leaders of America is requesting continued board support of National competition by granting permission to travel to Atlanta, Georgia for the FBLA National Leadership Conference, and approval of $300 per student to help offset travel costs.  Students, chaperones and advisor will be attending at the end of June to the beginning of July, 2016.
9.D. Grant Request(s):
9.D.1. Hidden Valley teacher Chris Pendleton requests permission to apply for a grant for new Personal Finance material and books from Dave Ramsey called Foundations in Personal Finance.  The grant is from Pathway Financial Success.
9.D.2. Hidden Valley teacher Chris Pendleton requests permission to accept a CTSO grant in the amount of $1050.
9.D.3. North Valley teacher Deborah Acosta requests permission to apply for a CTSO grant in the amount of $1,050.
9.D.4. North Valley teacher Ken Klumpp requests approval to apply for the CTSO  grant that will be used to pay for advisor and student travel costs as well as an additional stipend for the SkillsUSA advisor.
