3.C. Approval of Revised Policy 2360 Special Education Transportation - 2nd Reading

Description:
The proposed amendment clarifies for schools, parents, and transportation eligibility considerations for students to receive transportation services as a related service determined by the student's IEP team. There has been no additional input concerning the proposed additions. It is recommended the Board approve Revised Policy 2360 Special Education Transportation on a second reading.

Description:
LEA's are required by USBE to update their district policy and procedure manual based on changes in Utah Special Education Rules within one year of the final Board approval of State Rules.  The Special Education Department has utilized the USBE template in updating Weber School District's Policies and Procedures Manual and were approved July 2021 by USBE Special Education Services.  It is recommended the Board approve Revised Policy 4199 on a first reading.

3.E. Approval of Property Tax Rates and Revenues for Tax Year 2021
Description:
As part of the Budget Hearing on June 9, 2021, the latest tax rates were presented to the Board.  We have since received the Basic School Levy from the State Tax Commission.  It is requested the Board approve this resolution.
