II.A. Prevailing Wage Resolution
|

Description:
The Board of Education is required to approve the rates for prevailing wages to be paid for certain kinds of work pursuant to Illinois law every year. The approval occurs in June each year.
The most current schedule is attached in addition to the recommendation for approval, resolution for approval and the notice for publication. On September 25, 2017, April 11, 2018, and May 24, 2018, IDOL published subsequent rounds of technical corrections to the Prevailing Wage schedules that were originally published on August 15, 2017. Rates revised on September 25, 2017 are highlighted in green in the county rate schedules in which they appear. Rates revised on April 11, 2018 are highlighted in blue in the county rate schedules in which they appear. Rates revised on May 24, 2018 are highlighted in gray in the county rate schedules in which they appear. The corrected rates published on September 25, 2017, April 11, 2018, and May 24, 2018 are effective as of the date of their publication. |

II.B. Disposal of Property

Description:
End of year requests for disposal of property have been received and/or requested by the Tech Department and Student Services Department. Attached are the requests for disposal from the Tech Department for iPads and ThinkPads. The request for disposal from the Student Services Department has been submitted and is being reviewed. It will be included Monday upon determination of appropriateness of disposal.

II.C. Transfer of Funds
|
|
|
Description:
Attached are resolutions for the transfer of monies from the Education Fund and Operations/Maintenance Fund to the Capital Projects Fund. The purpose of sequestering the monies transferred is in order to begin completing items on the District's long range capital facilities plan.
The monies from the Education Fund would be unspent contingency dollars that had been set aside for special education tuition, personnel leaves and other projects that were not needed during fiscal year 2018. The monies from the Operations/Maintenance Fund would be the net revenue from the facilities rental program for fiscal year 2018. Both dollar amounts are being reviewed and calculated for final recommendation. |
