3.B.2. Rachel Mussell and Max Lundeen, Juniors at Buffalo High School, who were named as the ExCel (Excellence in Community Education and Leadership) Award recipients for 2010, sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League.

BHS JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) students who participated in the Career Development Conference -  Nancy Arreola won 1st place in Interviewing; Fawnee Hedberg won 2nd place in Resume and Cover Letter; Karla Lopez Alarcon won 3rd place in Public Speaking; Paul Rankin, Brandon Gesinger, Seng Vang and Joey Verdugo won 2nd place in the JAG Bowl Competition; Delenna Kerr won 3rd place in Topic Poster; Sam Schaefbauer won 2nd place in T-Shirt Design and Seng Vang won the Chairman's Award for his exemplary efforts and progress in the JAG prgram over the past two years.
3.B.4. BHS Students who participated in the National Financial Capability Challenge administered by the US Department of the Treasury and the US Department of Education.  Adam DeBlois and Joseph Jordan had perfect scores.  The following students scored in the top 20th percentile - Rachel Bunkers, Kellen Groser, Kristen Grundman, Kenzie Haight, Trent Hulett, Brent Kettenacker, Eric Luhman, Brady Maus, Ashley Michalko, Tyler Rust, Nicholas Teetzel and Alexandra Zinser.
3.B.5. Lori Tenney, Counselor at Buffalo Community Middle School, who was named Minnesota Counselor of the Year for 2010.
