7.A. Consider Approval of Interlocal Agreement with Harris County for a Public Health Innovations Lab
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the interlocal agreement with Harris County for a Public Health Innovations Lab at C. E. King Middle School, and further delegate authority to the Superintendent or his designee to execute the agreement and any amendment(s) to the agreement, with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
7.B. Consider Work Authorization with Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN)
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve payment to Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. for the total amount not to exceed $82,245.00 per month for Program Management Services through July 2022, with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
7.C. Consider the Extension of Contract for Delinquent Property Tax Collection
Description:  The administration recommends to rescind the contract approved on June 15, 2021 and approve a contingent fee contract with Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins and Mott, LLP pursuant to Section 6.30 of the Tax Code, said contract being for the collection of delinquent government receivables owed to Sheldon Independent School District and notice of said contract is posted with the agenda in accordance with Section 2254 of the Government Code.  In addition, the Administration recommends approval of the written findings pursuant to Section 2254.1036(b) regarding a contingent fee contract with Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott, LLP all with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
7.D. Consider Property Insurance
Description:  It is recommended that property of Sheldon ISD be insured by AIG/Lexington lead insurance carriers with an annual estimated premium of $2,110,252.00 with a copy to be attached to and become a part of the minutes.
7.E. Consider Approval of Compensation Schedules for 2021-2022
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the compensation schedules submitted for 2021-2022 with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
7.F. Consider Meal Prices 2021-2022
Description:  It is recommended that the above meal prices for 2021-2022 school year be approved with a copy to be attached to and become a part of the minutes.
7.G. Consider 2021-2022 Student Code of Conduct
Description:  It is recommended that the 2021-2022 Sheldon I.S.D. Student Code of Conduct be approved with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
7.H. Consider Emergency Connectivity Funding for Equipment and Services
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees authorize the superintendent or designee authority to negotiate and execute contracts and purchases for the Emergency Connectivity Fund Program for the purchase of equipment and special programs that fall under the ECF umbrella with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

Description:  Consider, discuss and possible final action to terminate employment contract of high school teacher Katrina Maxwell.

Description:  It is recommended that the Board take final action to terminate the 2021/2022 term contract of high school teacher Katrina Maxwell for good cause as determined by the Board and direct the Superintendent to deliver the notice with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

Description:  It is recommended that the Sheldon ISD Board of Trustees adopt the changes to Board Policy CE (LOCAL) with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

Description:  It is recommended that the Sheldon ISD Board of Trustees adopt the Board policies (LOCAL) that are included in TASB Update 117 with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes..
