Description:  Depository Contracts are good for 2 years. They can be extended for 3 two-year terms. Boyd ISD has extended their 3 two-year terms and were required by state law to go out for bid. We sent the bid requirements to 4 banks, First Financial Bank, First State Bank Decatur, Pinnacle Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank. Only one responded, First Financial Bank, which is our current, hometown bank.

Two main points to note:
--decreasing interest rate from .15 to .10 (which is more than we currently make with TexPool.

It is our recommendation that we approve the depository contract from September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2023.
