III.B. Speech and Language Pathologist FTE Increase - Susan Tinney
Description:  Request to increase Speech and Language Pathologist services by .6 FTE. 

Recommendation: To approve the .6 FTE increase in Speech and Language Pathologist services as presented. 
III.C. Special Education - Increases in FTE - Susan Tinney
Description:  Proposed increases in FTE for four special education positions: Teacher Consultant, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (.34), Occupational Therapist (.4) , Physical Therapist (.12) and School Psychologist (1.0). 

Recommendation: To approve the special education FTE increases as presented.  
III.D. New Position - Separate Executive Director, CTE and Principal, WTC - Susan Tinney
Description:  Proposal to separate the Career and Technical Education Executive Director and the Principal position for the Wilson Talent Center. 

Recommendation: To approve the separation and creation of two positions at the Wilson Talent Center; 1.0 FTE Executive Director, CTE and 1.0 FTE Principal as presented. 
III.E. New OPEIU Position - .5 FTE Administrative Assistant, Heartwood - Susan Tinney
Description:  New OPEIU position for a .5 FTE Administrative Assistant, Clinic at Heartwood School. 

Recommendation: To approve the new OPEIU position for a .5 FTE Heartwood School Clinic Administrative Assistant as presented. 

III.F. Recommendation to Hire - Greg Molenda - Susan Tinney
Description:  Greg Molenda is being recommended for hire for the Technical Assistance and LEA Special Education Director position. 

Recommendation: To approve the hiring of Greg Molenda for the position of Technical Assistance and LEA Special Education Director position. 
III.G. Recommendation to Hire - Joseph Wenzel, Principal, WTC - Susan Tinney
Description:  Joseph Wenzel is being recommended for hire for the Wilson Talent Center Principal position. 

Recommendation: To approve the hiring of Joseph Wenzel as the Wilson Talent Center Principal 

III.H. Resignation - Jennifer Rogers, Heartwood School Principal - Susan Tinney
Description:  Jennifer Rogers has submitted her resignation and her last day of employment will be August 3, 2018. 

Recommendation: To approve the resignation of Jennifer Rogers effective August 3, 2018. 

III.I. Scenario House Construction - Helen McNamara
Description:  The bid award for a general contractor to construct the Scenario House for the Law Enforcement Program at the WTC. The house will provide many training opportunities for the students in the law program and across the district. 

Recommendation: To approve the bid award to LJ Trumble Builders for the construction of the Law Enforcement Scenario House to be built in 2018 in the amount of $300,785. 

III.J. Wilson Talent Center - Conference Room Tables - Helen McNamara
Description:  The purchase of new conference room tables at the Wilson Talent Center (WTC). 

Recommendation: To approve the bid purchase of new conference room tables for the WTC from Kentwood Office Furniture through the Fairfax County Purchasing Cooperative in the amount of $24,807.50.

III.K. WTC Culinary Program Food Purchase - Helen McNamara
Description:  This item is to authorize purchases from Sysco for the 2018-19 Wilson Talent Center's Culinary program.

Recommendation: To authorize the purchase of food supplies during 2018-19 for the WTC Culinary Arts program from Sysco, in a total amount not to exceed $30,000.

III.L. Hearing Equipment - Helen McNamara
Description:  This item is for the annual Special Education purchase of student hearing equipment. This equipment is Phonak-brand equipment that is compatible with the existing equipment used with students. 

Recommendation:  To purchase Phonak brand hearing equipment and hearing aids from Phonak, Inc. (Warrenville, IL) for a total not to exceed $60,000 for Ingham ISD service area special education programs and services.

III.M. Stockbridge Special Education Administrator Services - Helen McNamara
Description:  Stockbridge Community Schools has requested to continue the contract for .50 FTE Special Education administrator services for 2018-19. This action item is for a one-year agreement for the ISD to provide these services, with reimbursement from Stockbridge.

Recommendation: To approve the agreement with Stockbridge Community Schools for .50 FTE Special Education administrator services, for the period of July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, with reimbursement from the district for the net cost which is estimated at $54,000.  


III.N. Heartwood School Pavement Rehabilitation - Helen McNamara
Description:  The bid award for the Ingham ISD parking lot rehabilitation plan. It is for the Heartwood School bus loop and a portion of the north parking lot and includes heavy duty paving, walk repaving, barrier free ramps, and some grading. 

Recommendation: To approve the bid award to Tomco Asphalt Inc. of Mason, MI in the amount of $210,480.70 for the 2018 Heartwood School pavement rehabilitation project.

Description:  Discussion of the proposed new position for a Transportation Specialist.

Description:  Review of the request to increase the Special Education Teacher FTE at Heartwood School. 
IV.D. Reclassification - Desktop Engineer - Susan Tinney
Description:  Discussion regarding the reclassification of the Desktop Engineer position.
IV.E. LEA Transportation Services - Helen McNamara
Description:  The ISD has been asked to provide interim general education transportation routing services and certain transportation management/consulting services for a local district.

Description:  Information regarding a change related to a May 2018 board action item for REMC database resources.  The amount changed for one of the components, TumbleBook Library.
