3.H. 3170 - Secondary Schools Curricular, Co-Curricular, and Extra-Curricular Transportation - Deletion
In moving to MSBA Model Policies, administration is recommending the deletion of Policy 3170 which will be replaced with MSBA Policy 710.
3.I. 3175 - Elementary Schools Special Activities Transportation - Deletion
In moving to MSBA Model Policies, administration is recommending the deletion of Policy 3175 which will be replaced with MSBA Policy 710.
4. Contracts, Change Orders, and Leases
4.A. Contracts
4.A.1) School Transportation Services
RFQ 4160 was approved by the School Board in December, 2014 for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 school years.  In addition, it included the opportunity to negotiate additional one year agreements in the future.

4.A.2) Krista Harju - Mental Health Consultant (MHC) Agreement
The MHC will provide consultations to staff and parents, observations and written reports of individual and groups of children to the classroom staff and Disabilities/MHC in order to promote the social and emotional well-being of children in Head Start.  This position fulfills the requirements of the Office of Head Start for Mental Health Consultation and will not exceed $63,240.00 for dates of service between September 6, 2016 - June 10, 2017.
4.B. Change Orders
4.B.1) Change Order #3 for HOCHS 3rd Street Parking Lot Improvements
Northland Consulting Engineers LLP (NCE) has provided civil engineering services for the HOCHS 3rd street parking lot project.  NCE’s work scope increased due to unforeseen site conditions, added construction observation and administration fees.  The total cost of these additional services results in an increase of approximately $7,000.00 for a new contract value of $57,593.00.
4.B.2) Change Order #5 for Denfeld CTE Addition
This change order is for several items as discussed at the Business Committee meeting and included in the backup materials.  The additional cost of the change order is $11,530.40, with a total revised contract cost, including all change orders, of $702,268.95.
