4. Education Equity Advisory Committee - Program Funding Recommendations
At their September 29, 2011 meeting, the Education Equity Advisory Committee (EEAC) approved the following program funding requests.

Recommendation: It is recommended that the funding requests approved by the Education Equity Advisory Committee in the total amount of $158,000.00 be approved.

4.A. Administration's request for professional development funding related to reducing the achievement gap in the amount of $150,000.00.

4.B. Funding the Metamorphosis Project in the amount of $4,000.00.

4.C. Funding the Youth of Duluth / 1st Annual YOD Fall/Winter Jam Basketball Leage programs in the amount of $4,000.00.

5. Resolution B-10-11-2936 - Approval of Ten-Year Capital Facilities Plan - 2011 Update

6. Resolution B-10-11-2937 - Approval of Maximum Levy Certification

7. Approval to Hire Teaching/Support Positions Totaling 1.5 FTE:

Recommendation: It is recommended that the positions be funded by the additional $1.9 million in anticipated WADM funds.

7.A. .5 FTE Dean of Students for Morgan Park Middle School

7.B. .5 FTE Special Education Teacher for Denfeld High School

7.C. .5 FTE Special Education Teacher for Woodland Middle School
