6.A.1. Athletic Coaches - September 2018
6.B. Out of State Travel Requests:
6.B.1. Human Resources Director JP Richards requests approval to attend the National Human Resource Conference in Minneapolis, MN.  Travel dates will be October 8-12, 2018 and the costs will be paid for out of Title funds and not out of the general budget.
6.B.2. Illinois Valley HS Athletic Director Bruce Reece requests approval to attend the NIAAA National Convention in San Antonio, Texas, December 14-18, 2018.  The trip will be paid for out of district athletic funds.
6.B.3. North Valley High School Athletic Director Tim Sam requests approval to attend the National Athletic Directors Conference in San Antonio, Texas, December 14-19, 2018.   Registration, lodging and meals will be paid out of North Valley District Athletics and air travel will be paid by Tim Sam personally.
6.B.4. Hidden Valley High School Future Business Leaders of America is requesting continued board support for National competition by granting permission to travel to San Antonio, Texas for the FBLA National Leadership Conference, and approval of $300 per student to help offset travel costs, as granted in board policy.  Students, chaperones and adviser will be attending at the end of June to the beginning of July 2019.
6.B.5. Hidden Valley High School business teacher Chris Pendleton is seeking approval to attend the 2019 Western Business Education Association (WBEA) Conference in Tucson, Arizona.  The conference will be held February 14-18, 2019.  Zero General Fund dollars are spent for this professional development opportunity.
6.B.6. Hidden Valley High School business teacher Chris Pendleton is asking the board to approve a travel request to attend the MBA Leadership Forum in Kansas City, October 4-8, 2018.  The goal is to continue to develop the CTE program here in the state of Oregon and at Hidden Valley High School.  Zero General Fund dollars are spent for this professional development opportunity.
6.B.7. Hidden Valley High School teacher Keith Haley is seeking approval to sponsor a trip to Washington DC and New York City via EFTOURS.  The dates are tentatively set on or about July 7, 2019.  Students/families would be responsible for all of their expenses with regard to the cost of the trip and expenses.
6.B.8. Director Casey Alderson requests approval to attend the National Career and Technical Education Vision Conference.  This conference aligns with board goals as well as district CTE goals for our Perkins funding.  This annual conference is held in San Antonio, Texas, November 28-30, 2018.  The conference is paid for through Perkins and SOESD.
6.B.9. Director Casey Alderson requests approval to participate with our Oregon Center of High School Success (OCHSS) team to Chicago, Illinois, November 7-8, 2018.  They will observe some of the Chicago high schools who have been successfully implementing ninth grade on-track processes.  Three Rivers School District was chosen as a partner for the Oregon Center of High School Success team and all costs associated with this travel are covered by OCHSS.
