9.D.1. North Valley High School teacher Misha Mayers requests approval for travel to Seattle, Wa from November 20-23, 2009 to attend the Western International Band Clinic.
9.D.2. Hidden Valley High School teacher Ben Lawson requests permission for travel to Seattle, WA to attend the Western Internation Band Clinic from November 20-23, 2009.
9.D.3. Hidden Valley FBLA requests continued Board support of their program and trip to the National Fall Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL from November 19-23, 2009. Attending will be Dale Fisher, Chris Pendleton and student Gabrielle Pendleton.
9.D.4. Hidden Valley High School science teacher Jim Early requests approval for travel to Phoenix, Arizona from December 2-6, 2009 to attend the National Science Teachers Association Convention.
9.D.5. Lorna Byrne teachers Lacey Fox and Aaron Mathews and Fleming teacher Kathy Mathews are requesting approval for travel to Atlanta, Georgia from November 10-15, 2009 to attend the National Council of Social Studies Annual Conference.
9.D.6. Federal Programs Director Peter Maluk requests approval to send sixteen licensed staff members to attend a four day Winter Institute with the topic of Cooperative Learning: Enhancing Student Engagement. The institute is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 12-15, 2010. All expenses will be paid for by Federal Title I ARRA funds which are specifically targeted for professional development activities and our Title IIA Professional Development grant. There will be no expense to the district.
