6.B. Out of State Travel Request(s)
6.B.1. Director Rob Saunders requests approval for out of state travel to the Edupoint Users Conference in Nashville, Tennessee on November 3-4, 2022.  Attendees would include: 3 Synergy users from the IT Department, 3 from Special Education, 2 administrators and 3 office staff users.  The conference will be budgeted for out of the IT Department, Special Education budget and Curriculum.  
6.B.2. North Valley Principal Erik Lathen and teacher Ken Klumpp request permission to travel out of state to the Skills USA National Skills and Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.  The conference is June 20-24, 2022.  They have 6 students competing at the National Leadership Conference and are also seeking $300 supplemental funding per student.
6.B.3. Applegate School principal Steven Fuller requests approval for out of state travel to take the 8th graders on a visit to the coast and Trees of Mystery in Klamath, California.  The date of the trip is May 25, 2022.  They are fundraising to pay for the trip.
6.B.4. Director Rob Saunders is seeking approval to attend the 13th annual Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC) September 27-29 in San Diego, California.  He would like to have at least one of our tech staff attend in person.

Description:
School Board meetings are meetings of the School Board held in public, not meetings with the public.  As a general rule, the Board will not engage in discussion with the public during this portion of the meeting.  Please rest assured that all comments are carefully considered and will help guide future Board action.  If you wish to speak, please complete the 'School Board Comment Card' if in-person or complete the Public Comment Request online at:  https://www.3riverssd.org to provide public comment virtually.  There will be 20 minutes allotted for public input.  When your name is called you will be allowed your 2-3 minutes to speak.  Keep your remarks brief and respect the time limit.  Complaints about staff members cannot be discussed in open session and must be handled through a complaint procedure.
