8.B.1. Fleming Principal Brian Miller and teacher Jerry Wilder request out of state travel permission for the Fleming eighth grade band for their annual trip to Six Flags in Vallejo, California. The date of the trip is May 29-30, 2022. There is no missed school and no cost to the district.
8.C. Grant Request(s):
8.C.1. Director Stephanie Allen-Hart would like to apply for two different grants to support our students. TRSD Youth Transition Program is requesting to apply for the Oregon Community Foundation application in the amount of $10,000. These funds would be used to enhance the activities for hands-on workforce training opportunities to students with an IEP or 504. The special education is also seeking a $10,000 Four Way Community Grant to purchase technology, supplemental materials for academics, and materials for the life skills program.

9. Community Comments
Description:
School Board meetings are meetings of the School Board held in public, not meetings with the public.  As a general rule, the Board will not engage in discussion with the public during this portion of the meeting.  Please rest assured that all comments are carefully considered and will help guide future Board action.  If you wish to speak, please complete the 'School Board Comment Card' if in-person or complete the Public Comment Request online at:  https://www.3riverssd.org to provide public comment virtually.  There will be 20 minutes allotted for public input.  When your name is called you will be allowed your 2-3 minutes to speak.  Keep your remarks brief and respect the time limit.  Complaints about staff members cannot be discussed in open session and must be handled through a complaint procedure.
