8.B. Out of State Travel Request:
8.B.1. North Valley teacher Neil DeForrest requests approval for 4 coaches/teachers to attend the Glazier Football Coaching Clinic, March 6-8, 2020 in Seattle, Washington.  The four teachers would needs sub coverage for one day. There are no additional costs to the district.
8.B.2. Hidden Valley HS Principal Damian Crowson requests permission for two Hidden Valley teachers and one Lincoln Savage staff member to attend Link Crew training hosted by the Boomerang Project at the Skamania Lodge in Washington.  The dates for the training will be March 16-18, 2020.  The is no charge to the district to attend.
8.C. Grant Request(s):
8.C.1. North Valley HS is seeking a approval to apply for a grant from USA Football.  If awarded the grant they would spend the money on equipment for football players.
8.C.2. Hidden Valley HS teacher Keith Haley would like permission to accept up to $5000 from the Portland Trailblazer Foundation "Take it to the Court" if awarded.  Hidden Valley Foods is currently raising funds to purchase a food/concession trailer to be used as a mobile concession stand and/or as a way for the HV Culinary to learn commercial food production, marketing, customer service inventory, ordering and accounting.
8.C.3. Food Service Supervisor Marina Mudryy is applying for a $40,000 grant through ODE-NSLP Equipment Assistant Grant Application to upgrade the walk-in refrigerator in the Food Service Warehouse.
8.C.4. Jeromy Wright has applied for and been awarded two grants to support North Valley's wood shop program: Northwest Community Credit Union for $1500 and Harbor Freight for $200.  Funds from these grants will be used to purchase equipment and supplies to outfit their wood shop
