Recommended motion: I recommend that the Governing Board approve the Extended School Year (ESY) program to begin June 9 through June 27, 2025, Monday through Friday at the Molloy Education Center and June 17 through July 10, 2025, Monday through Thursday at Rutledge Hall for Early Childhood and Satellite students

Recommended motion: I recommend that the Governing Board approve the Waiver of Conflict as prepared by NTDSE's legal counsel, as presented and recommended by the Executive Director.

8.C. MOU Holidays for Support Staff
Recommended Motion: It is recommended that the Governing Board approve the Memorandum of Understanding regarding additional paid holidays for the 2024-2025 school year for Support Staff between the Governing Board of Niles Township District for Special Education and the Niles Township Federation of Special Education Educators and Support Staff, as presented and recommended by the Executive Director.

Personnel: The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, specific individuals who serve as independent contractors, or specific volunteers of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee, a specific individual who serves as an independent contractor, or a volunteer of the District or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity. However, a meeting to consider an increase in compensation to a specific employee of a public body that is subject to the Local Government Wage Increase Transparency Act may not be closed and shall be open to the public and posted and held in accordance with this Act. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1).
