Description:

The board will review and recommend approval of the monthly bills payable report. This report details all disbursements made by the district since the last meeting, including payroll, benefits, utilities, contracted services, instructional materials, and capital expenditures. Each payment has been verified for accuracy and appropriateness in accordance with district policy and state statute. Approval of bills payable affirms that the district’s financial transactions are transparent, properly documented, and consistent with the board-approved budget.

Description:
At this time the board would like to invite any member of the audience to stand with comments about items of interest or concern that do or do not appear on the agenda this evening. Please begin by stating your name and address. It would be appreciated if you would limit your comments to three minutes so that we can keep the meeting moving in a timely fashion and allow others an opportunity to speak. We ask that you remember that Wisconsin law prohibits us from discussing specific employees or their job performance. Thank you for your support of our school district.

7.A. Leader in Me Lighthouse Team Presentation
Description:
The Leader in Me Lighthouse Team is a group of students, teachers, and administrators who work together to implement and sustain the Leader in Me program within WUHS. They serve as role models and ambassadors, leading initiatives, promoting leadership principles, and fostering a culture of leadership and personal growth throughout the school community.

7.B. Unite Academy Update / Competency-Based Diplomas Consideration 
Description:
Director of Alternative Education Ehren Klebenow will provide an update on the Unite Academy year in review, discuss the current direction of the program, and share graduation data. She would also like to have a discussion at the board level on establishing a competency-based diploma at WUHS.

Principal Foster will share an overview of the District's 2024-25 state report card, which was released by the WI Department of Public Instruction earlier this month.

Description:

9.B. School Board Election Notice
Description:
The WUHS Board will have one seat, currently held by Doug Schwartz, open for the April 7, 2026 Spring Election.  Notice of the annual school board election will be published as a Type A notice in the Waterford Post on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The candidate deadline for filing all ballot access documents is no later than 5:00 PM on January 6, 2026, at the District Office. If a primary is necessary, the primary election will be held February 17, 2026.

Description:
In 2026, the United States will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. This milestone is also known as the Semiquincentennial.
