Description:
1. The 2025 MSBA Leadership Conference is slated for Thursday, January 16, and Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Please let me or Angel know if you are interested in going so we can get everyone registered.
2. Carla Nolan and I attended the MASA Region VI meeting recently. We received a first session of a training on Artificial Intelligence. We also received updates from various MASA state and regional committees. 3. MASA Fall Conference Update-Carla Nolan and I both attended the MASA Fall Conference last week. We were both able to network and participate in a number of breakout sessions including "what matters", cybersecurity, MSHSL, and more. 4. The updated budget summary for our projects is attached. 5. Reminder: November School Board Meeting Dates are November 4 (Regular) and 13 (Special). |

Be it resolved, that MSBA urges the legislature to continue the hold harmless compensatory funding for school districts for 2 years or longer to extend the current rate in school districts going forward based on current calculation statuses.
