We will take a quick tour of Chatfield Elementary and then the JH-SH to review facility changes made over the summer. 

While the results of reading and math were released last week, we will review the district test results in these subject areas.  We will review once again in late August or early September as additional information from the Science exams will be available.  A document showing a summary of our results is attached for your review.

Mr. Keller has begun the process of refunding our 2005 issued bonds.  While we utilized Ehlers in the original sale of the bonds, we are working with Springsted on the refinancing of these bonds.  Official action will need to be taken at our August 27th meeting to formalize this refinancing option.  

At our last meeting I mentioned the possibility of changing from our current data warehouse (ViewPoint) to a new system (Tableau) that is more closely integrated with Infinite Campus.  We believe that the Tableau system can provide us with more detail in the way we look at test data.  There would be a first year cost of $12,140 for Tableau software and set up plus an additional server cost of $3,820 – total cost of $15,960.  In future years, Tableau annual fee would be $3,820 compared to our annual fee of $4,473.

I will be trying to have 3 to 4 policies for review and updating each month.  I would like to discuss the process used to move forward with this review.

I hope to have the most current enrollment #s for our incoming Kindergarten class.
