To recognize the efforts of nearly 6,000 school board members in the state, November 15, 2025, is designated School Board Members' Day in Illinois. Pleasantdale Board members will be recognized at the beginning of the November 19th Board meeting.

Our School District could receive up to $50,000 for school maintenance projects. This is a matching grant and requires a dollar-for-dollar matching contribution. To receive the maximum grant, we need to spend $50,000 of local funds. For the FY26 grant, we have identified the replacement of the gymnasium floors at each of our schools. This project is a priority for the district.
