II.A. Eisenhower Playground Update
|
|

Description:
The playground has FINALLY been completed. We'll share updated pictures with the Committee on Tuesday!

II.B. Fencing Replacement at Eisenhower Playground
|
|
|
Description:
In early winter, a large section of fencing at the Eisenhower Playground fell forward in the wind. The District worked with the City to determine fencelines and confirm ownership. Mike has gotten proposals for the replacement of the entire fence at Eisenhower School, including the playground and the fence between 3 N. Schoenbeck and the Ike parking lot.

II.C. Outdoor Learning Space - Signage
|

Description:
Amy will provide an update on the naming of each Outdoor Space and correlating signage at each building. Renderings for signage at each building have been attached as well as a preliminary cost proposal from Sign Palace.

Description:
Mike & Amy will provide an update on the sanitary line project and next steps to be taken. Additionally, we will discuss the status of the property claim that has been filed with SSCIP.

II.E. Plan for on Campus Summer Learning and Eisenhower Usage

Description:
Eisenhower will be having ESY this summer, using the first floor classrooms from June 5 - July 7, 2023. The Prospect Heights Park District will be using a single classroom and the MPR for their summer program between June 5 - July 28, 2023.

II.F. Summer 2024 Planning - Discussion of Window, Siding and Door Replacements

Description:
We will be meeting with ARCON to lay out a plan for the summer 2024 siding, windows and door replacements. We anticipate assembling an expanded construction committee to provide feedback on the process and aesthetics. ARCON will also be discussing the safety and security features of several door & window options.

II.G. Energy Update - Intent to Withdraw from IEC
|

Description:
As previously discussed, the District is preparing to issue a solicitation for Electricity and Gas through Nania Energy during the coming Fall, 2023 season, in advance of our renewal with Constellation through the IEC. Amy will provide a brief update on that process.

Description:
Mike will share an update on discussions with All In Athletics to rent space in the MacArthur Gymnasium for weeknight practices.

Description:
We will discuss the transition to a new work-order management system for Maintenance and Operations, Incident IQ Facilities, to our help-desk, ticketing system, as this will allow staff to use one system for maintenance and tech needs.
