4. Community Spotlight - Snyder Little Dribblers
Presenter:
Valerie Morris
Description:
When our schools are closed, there is no shortage of Snyder youth in our facilities. This is largely because of the many youth sports programs that provide activities and positive outlets for our students. One of the largest community organizations serving our youth is Snyder Little Dribblers.

Snyder ISD is proud to serve as the host facility for these activities and appreciates the Little Dribblers for providing our children with much more than an opportunity to play basketball. It gives them a safe and structured place to spend their time, stay active, develop their skills, and build meaningful relationships with coaches and teammates.

Approval of food service policy regarding negative account balances.  Students will be permitted to accrue up to $50 in negative charges for reimbursable meals and up to $10 in negative charges for non-reimbursable or à la carte purchases.

The Food Service Secretary will regularly report outstanding balances to campus principals, so campuses can work directly with families, assist with meal applications and available supports, and address balances before students reach the established limits. Once the applicable charge limit is reached, additional charges in that category will not be permitted and a sack lunch will be provided.

Primary and Intermediate students continue to receive reimbursable meals at no cost; however, the $10 limit for non-reimbursable or à la carte purchases will apply.
