Description:
The school board meeting is a meeting in the public, not a public meeting.  Nicollet School Board Policy provides that persons who wish to have a subject discussed at a public school board meeting are encouraged to notify the superintendent’s office in advance of the school board meeting.  The school board chair will recognize one speaker at a time and will rule out of order other speakers who are not recognized, violations of data privacy, or inappropriate comments.

13. NON-RENEWAL RESOLUTION - ACTION
Description:

The Superintendent recommends the following resolution:

Be it resolved by the School Board of Independent School District No. 507 that pursuant to Minnesota Statute 122A.40 Sub.Div.5 that the teaching contracts of Paige Madson, Molly Scheid, Brittany Browning-Morton, Ciara Schmidt, Jordan Elias, Collin Jutting, Jay Brockman, and Scott Buddy are hereby non-renewed at the close of the 25-26 school year effective June 30, 2026.

The purpose of this resolution is due to enrollment decreases and budget reductions.

Written notice shall be sent to each teacher regarding the non renewal of the teacher’s contract.

Probationary teachers non renewed may be eligible for continued contract reinstatement when positions become available.
