Description:
Mel has been an incredible Educational Assistant. She is requesting up to one year to care for an ailing relative. I recommend we support her in this effort so that we can hope to have her back on the team in the future.
The Classified Union Master Agreement allows for a medical leave of absence. Section B. Family Medical Leave Upon request, a leave of absence for certain family and medical reasons shall be granted by the School District. Provisions of the act shall be available to the employees as required by law. |
9.d. Accept Resignation - Cody Cox, Special Education Teacher

Mr. Cox is electing to resign at the end of the 21-22 school year. He hopes to pursue a position closer to his home.

LouAnn has been a key part of our English department for 23 years. She has contributed immeasurably as a college in the high school instructor, athletic coach, and activities advisor. We wish her well in retirement.

10.c. Increase Pay - Substitute Teachers to $140 Per Day

Description:
Our substitute pay scale is not keeping up with our neighboring districts. An increase will allow us to continue to attract quality candidates.
PR-$140/$70 M-$150/$85 S-$130/$67 W-$125/$62.50 I recommend an increase to $140 for a full day and $70 for a half-day. I also recommend we pay either full days or half-days and not hourly. |
10.d. Approve 2022-2025 Contract - Superintendent Parks

Description:
The superintendent's contract is for three years. Key provisions are:
1. 3 percent annual increase on base salary. This is in alignment with the 3-5 percent pay raises negotiated for all district employees. 2. Increasing the district's insurance contribution by $2,000 to keep pace with rising premiums. The previous amount has not gone up in the past three years. 3. Increase 403b contribution by $2,000. 4. Bereavement Leave language is now the same as the Classified Union. |
