School District Polling Place Combination ResolutionsMinn. Stat. 205A.11 was not changed in 2023.Therefore, school districts who wish to designate combined polling places for standalone elections in 2024, must pass resolutions by December 31, 2023:

8.h. Approve American Indian Education Grant

Description:
The American Indian Education Aid (AIEA) program is administered by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and provides per-pupil funding to districts, charter schools, and Tribal contract schools that report a state American Indian student count of 20 or more. The grant is governed by six areas of focus:
The plan totaling $48,000 was developed in cooperation with the American Indian Parental Advisory Council. Their plan includes:
1. ACT fees, Campus visits, college application fees. 2. Instructional materials 3. Salary and benefits for Indian Education Coordinator and Assistant. 4. Rosetta Stone Ojibwe Language 5. Drivers Education fees |

9.a. Approve 2-Year Contract - Weeks Automotive, LLC, School Bus Mechanic Services

Description:
Weeks Automotive LLC (WA) will take on the Bus Mechanic job description for the 2024 and 2025 school years with an option to continue for the following two years. WA will average 20 hours per week servicing the NPS school buses and Type III vehicles.
