1. Call to Order and Declare a Quorum

2. PUBLIC FORUM:--All Persons Who Wish to Speak or Address the Board at This Time May do so by Completing the Registration Form Before the Meeting Begins.

3. Consider and possible action to approve the Concession Stand construction project, including possible delegation of authority to the Superintendent to select, negotiate and execute an agreement for architectural/engineering services, materials, and other necessary goods/services for the project.

4. Executive Session
Description:
The board will now go into closed session, as authorized by the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code, Section 551, Subchapters D and E or Texas Government Code section 418.183(f)

4.A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.129 and 551.071, discuss with legal counsel regarding Concession Stand construction project, including legal issues related to donation of services.
|
|
5. I move that the Board approve moving forward with the Concession Stand project as discussed in closed session and further delegate authority to the Superintendent to select an architect/engineer based on their demonstrated competence and qualifications and execute an agreement for architectural/engineering services for a fair and reasonable price in a form approved by legal counsel and further authorize the Superintendent to select vendors and purchase necessary materials for the project pursuant to Texas procurement laws up to $99,000 and report those purchases back to the Board at a future meeting.
