8. Action: Nonresident Card Participation
The Board of every public library is required by Illinois law to decide annually whether their library will participate in the State's nonresident fee program and must inform the regional system about the board's action. If participating, the library will issue cards (based on various state approved formulas) to nonresidents (those not served by a public library). Gail Borden Library uses the tax bill method in determining the fee to be charged to the nonresident. |
