Initial Site Work: (early June 2019)

  • Clearing site (trees and shrubs) within the construction limits.
  • Installing erosion controls around site to prevent storm water runoff.
  • Setting up temporary access road and perimeter site security fencing.
  • Tap existing water main on Chatfield Street and install piping to tank site.

Tank Construction (3-4 months, beginning late June 2019):

  • Excavation for concrete footings and tank floor.
  • Concrete pouring and casting of tank wall and roof panels.
  • Crane to load, unload and erect concrete wall and roof panels.
  • Finish exterior of tank with wire winding and shotcrete coating.
  • Install pipe vault and new piping.

Post Site Work: (Fall 2019)                                   

  • Install storm water drainage systems for tank site and parking lot.
  • Install security fencing, electrical, communication and security instrumentation.
  • Pave new permanent access driveway and parking lot.

 

Final Restoration: (early Spring 2020)

  • Plant trees, shrubs and finalized site landscaping.
