Description: 1. Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year (Leaders in Educational Excellence Educator) award winners:
Sara Kellogg-Primary School Carrie Berning-Intermediate School Malinda Pudlick-Middle School Arnold Changamire-High School These staff members were recognized at an award ceremony sponsored by Resource Training and Solutions that took place in St. Cloud on Wednesday, October 30. 2. Congratulations also to our Support Staff who won the Leadership in Educational Excellence Award. The following will be recognized at a regional meeting sponsored by Resource Training and Solutions on Wednesday, November 20th. Jen Edling-Nominated by Michelle Peacock Glenn Kaiawe-Nominated by Dave Kreft and Rick Kraus Barbie Engelhaupt-Nominated by Nat Boyer Stephanie Ulwelling-Nominated by Felicia Kittok Gloria Kydd-Nominated by Chantel Boyer Brook Whitney-Nominated by Dale Christensen 3. On Monday, November 11, each building will be holding a Veterans Day ceremony. It will be a great opportunity to hear the history of Veterans Day and honor those who are serving or have served our great country. 4. MSBA Leadership Conference on January 16-17, 2025. It will take place in person at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Please let me or Angela know if you are unable to attend. At this time everyone is registered for this complimentary conference. If you would like to attend any early bird sessions, please let us know that as well. 5. MSBA Pre-Delegate Assembly The purpose of the Pre-Delegate Assembly Meetings is to review each individual resolution — discussing the background information and the MSBA Board’s recommendation. The meeting will give Delegates an understanding of the wide range of subjects to be discussed and voted on at the Delegate Assembly. All 2024 Pre-Delegate meetings will be conducted via a virtual format. Delegates are welcome to attend the date that works best for them.
The Delegate Assembly takes place on December 6th and 7th at the DoubleTree Minneapolis South. Let Angel or Superintendent Schmidt know if more information is needed or to register. 6. The Student School Board Members and Carla Nolan attended a training session in Shakopee on October 29. Presenters included MSBA staff, Shakopee student representatives and included a morning and afternoon presentation. |

This resolution in accordance with §205A.11, Subd. 2 must be adopted by December 31 of each year, and the combined polling places specified shall be the combined polling places for the following calendar year.
I recommend Becker Community Center, 11500 Sherburne Avenue SE, Becker, MN 55308 as the combined polling place for 2024. |
