2. Public Hearing for Truth in Taxation Meeting:

Description:
Our annual Truth in Taxation presentation will be shared with board members and audience members. Our proposed levy for the school district shows an increase of just over $200,000 and equates to a 4.82% overall increase. The two major areas of increase in the levy were in Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) and Health & Safety. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and answers. A copy of the presentation is attached to this agenda item for your review.

Description:
The open position on our school board has been advertised in the Belle Plaine Herald and on our district website. If multiple people express interest in the position, we should determine the best possible dates for interviews for the position. Preferably the date will be the week of 12/15.

Description:
We now have had two formal readings of Policy 540 - Student Clubs. I have attached the revised version of the policy that was approved at our November board meeting. If no further revisions are recommended by the board, this policy will move forward for the final approval at our December meeting.
