As the referendum-funded facility improvements continue to develop, construction and budget updates will be routinely presented.  Wausau West, John Muir, Wausau East, and Thomas Jefferson will be reviewed.

VIII.A. Donovan Group Operational Referendum Survey Results (Action Requested)
Description:
Estimated Time to Present: 15 Minutes
Earlier this Spring, the Board expressed interest in exploring the possibility of an operational referendum.  To gauge preliminary support for such an effort, the Donovan Group was hired to conduct a survey of all staff and community members.  Mr. Perry Hibner, from the Donovan Group,  will present the results of this survey.  If the Board wants to pursue a November 2024 referendum, a resolution to this effect will need to be approved mid Summer.

VIII.B. Elementary Task Force Goals (Action Requested)
Description:
Estimated Time to Present:  15 Minutes
The Board has expressed interest in exploring possible changes to the elementary footprint for the WSD.  To inform this process, MD Roffers was hired to conduct a demographic study and to facilitate a task force process.  The Board is asked to describe the outcomes they want this task force to pursue.

VIII.D.1. 2024-2025 Paid Meal Price Update
Description:
Estimated Time to Present: 5   Minutes
The USDA PLE tool was used to determine the new weighted pricing average for the 2024-2025 school year for Wausau School District.  This weighted average is used as the guide for WSD Nutrition Services Department to update meal pricing for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.  In addition, the Wisconsin Adult Meal Price Calculation Guidelines provided by the DPI was used to update adult meal pricing utilizing the "pricing SFA" option of the Wisconsin DPI pricing tool.

Description:

Wausau School District Nutrition Service Department currently belongs to the Wisconsin School Nutrition Purchasing Cooperative (WiSNP - Co-op) group.  The WiSNP Co-op is requesting member districts to present the Co-op's resolution to their respective School Boards for approval of continued membership for the 2024-2025 school year.
