Description:
The Committee has been provided with a copy of the FY2022 Audit as performed by our auditor, Baker Tilly. We will be joined by firm partner, Mr. Nick Cavaliere, CPA, CFE to review the final audit and Annual Financial Report (AFR) and answer any questions from the Committee.

II.B. Discussion of the 2022 Tax Year Levy Process and Tentative Levy Discussion
|

Description:
We will discuss the proposed 2022 preliminary tax levy to be presented for approval at the November 9, 2022 BOE meeting. We will also discuss the need for a Supplemental Tax Levy for Debt Services as requested by Raymond James. Both levies will be presented for approval at the December 14, 2022 BOE meeting.

II.C. Change in Treasurer - Resolution

Description:
Following the resignation of the Township High School District 214 Associate Superintendent for Finance & Operations, Ms. Cathy Johnson, there has been a change in the Assistant Treasurer for the District. Mr. Miguel Vargas and Ms. Nicole Hansen will serve as the Assistant Treasurers for the Wheeling Township Treasury.

Description:
A detailed overview of a proposed settlement with Target Corporation, for the tax years of 2019 and 2020, has been prepared and attached for the Committee's review.

Bonds are currently scheduled to close on November 2, 2022. An update on the sale and transfer of funds will be provided to the Finance Committee.

II.F. City of Prospect Heights TIF District - Joint Review Board Update
|

|
Description:
The most recent meeting of the City of Prospect Heights Prospect Pointe Point - Muir Park TIF Joint Review Board was held on Tuesday, October 25th. A brief update regarding the sale of property to Lexington Homes for the Prospect Pointe development was provided and will be shared with the Finance Committee.

II.G. Renewal of Website Agreement - EMS LINQ (eSchoolview)
|
|
|
Description:
As shared with the Finance Committee and the Board, with the upcoming renewal of our Website Development contract this June, the Director of Technology, Mr. Chris Alms has been evaluating options with several different developers, including our current partner, eSchoolView. In addition to several improved services, there are incentives with our current vendor, including a waived website redesign cost, that are most advantageous for the District. The proposed contract has been attached and reflects a minimal increase of approximately $150/year.
