II.B. National Investigations Contract (part of budget) for student residency

Description:
The District has partnered with National Investigations for many years. A new product has been unveiled that will make the District's process consistent across all buildings and objective in all cases. The cost is efficient and effective in (a) what the system costs (b) what time the building assistants and registrar will recoup and (c) the database used for checking residency and/or McKinney-Vento cases as well as the investigatory process.
The costs for FY2019 is $2120 and investigations are priced at an hourly rate, if necessary. The contract is accounted for in the budget. |

II.C. Transworld Systems (Collection Agency)
|

|
Description:
The District has contracted with Transworld Systems for the purpose of collecting the 2017-18 outstanding school registration fees. The contract is based on purchasing a number of "cases" for collection over the next 2 years (3 school years); the District purchased 250 cases. The cost is $12.50 per case. The total amount is $3,125. Transworld guarantees a collection of at least twice the contract amount over 2 years. The District has approximately $25,000 in outstanding fees for the 2017-18 school year.
The executed contract is not attached as it contains some proprietary information. The contract is accounted for in the budget. |
